Hello! ATTS (Associazione Torinese Tram Storici), a non-profit organization based in Turin, Italy, dedicated to preserving and promoting tramway heritage.
We are currently working on a research and outreach initiative titled “Il tram al femminile”, which explores the historical and contemporary roles of women in tramway systems around the world.
We are looking for oral testimonies, personal stories, photographs, objects, documents, or any material that can help us document the experiences of women who have worked in tramway systems—whether as conductors, drivers, ticket collectors, engineers, or in any other role—in any city or country.
If you have anything to share, we would be thrilled to hear from you! Your contributions may be included in our research and featured (with full credit) in our outreach efforts.
