Ashpreet has over 15 years of professional experience where she has worked with and taken up leading roles at not-for-profits such as Smart Freight Centre (SFC), RMI, World Resources Institute [WRI India] and The Energy Resources Institute [TERI] to guide and support their freight decarbonisation projects. In her earlier stint as Head of SFC India, a not-for-profit working towards freight decarbonisation, she co-established the India chapter, framed strategies, formed corporate and government partnerships and fundraised to amplify efforts towards decarbonising freight in India. The role was similar at EVage Motors, an Indian OEM start-up that manufactures electric trucks, where she was heading their public affairs and policy division. At RMI India, she divided her time between leading research projects, supporting Indian state EV policies, and strategic communications.
