Harsimran Kaur is a researcher for ICCT’s Heavy Duty Vehicles program in India. At ICCT, her research focuses on evaluating the cost-effectiveness of alternative fuel technologies for heavy-duty vehicles and the feasibility of deploying zero-emission trucks in India. Before joining ICCT, Harsimran was a researcher at CEEW. Harsimran has 5+ years of experience in sustainable mobility in India and has researched topics ranging from the macroeconomic impacts of the EV transition to using high-frequency datasets to understand the challenges with bus transport in India.
Harsimran holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from TERI School of Advanced Studies (Delhi, India) and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from GGS Indraprastha University (Delhi, India).
