Helvi Petrus

Dr. Helvi Ndilimeke Petrus is an Economist with multi-skills in three sectors (Transport, Finance and Logistics and Supply Chain Management). Helvi serves as a Transportation Commissioner under the Transportation Commission of Namibia. Helvi is passionate about infrastructure development and funding, urban and rural active mobility, sustainable transport as well as transportation policies related issues. Helvi holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Transport Economics (Stellenbosch University), MA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Namibia University of Science and Technology), an MBA-Finance (Coventry University), and a Bachelor of Economics (University of Namibia). Helvi has 15 years of experience in policy formulation. She facilitated several SMEs projects, training, and mentorship in the Namibia. She also served as a Senior Lecturer as well as freelance Consultant in sustainable transport and green logistics pathway.
