I am a 37-year-old female Transport planning/Civil Engineer with over 16 years’ experience in the Civil engineering practices in infrastructure development and maintenance. With over 9 years’ experience in road development, maintenance and 7 years in Transport planning Engineering, Road safety engineering and management and Public Transport. I have Strategic planning with both oversight and insight in management and promoting road safety yet fostering collaborative engagements between partners a role I have played at the helm of leadership role in road safety at KCCA.

  • High stakeholder management skills for not only government organizations but also Non-Government, Civil Society Organizations, schools, public transport operators and the general public players.
  • Team playing and good communication skills, which were necessary in running my day to day activities that involved parallel, vertical and horizontal communications and confidentiality where necessary. Good communication had several Civil Society Organisations and private organizations partnering with KCCA in activities aimed at enhancing and promoting road safety.
  • A wealth of knowledge in assessing road safety challenges amongst all road user groups, using the Safe systems approach to creatively and innovatively improving the status of road safety in Uganda.
  • Promote and leveraging developed networks in sourcing funding if need be, to promoting road safety in Uganda.
