Julia is a Specialist in Sustainable Mobility and Communications with four years of experience in promoting sustainable energy and transport solutions to both expert and general audiences. She is skilled in event management and capacity development. Julia holds a master’s degree in political science, where she specialized in Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and integrating gender equity into transport policies.
At GIZ’s transport initiative TUMI, Julia manages communications for Women Mobilize Women’s global activities, advocating for feminist transport policies. She currently leads the “Global Alliance for Feminist Transport,” which was launched at the ITF Summit 2024.
