Juliana Carvalho is an experienced project manager, with a proven track record in various areas, including grant writing, collaborating with multicultural teams, crafting institutional reports, delivering public presentations, conducting applied research, and creating communication and dissemination materials. Her diverse education and extensive experience uniquely position her to lead initiatives in sustainability transitions and international collaboration. Her key areas of interest encompass sustainability transitions, collaborative planning and policy making, sustainable urban mobility, transnational projects, participatory processes, and innovative approaches related to education and climate change.







She is currently a PhD candidate in Transport Systems. She holds an M.A. in Human Settlements and Environment and a B.A. in International Relations. She has specialisations in Strategic Project Management and Geographical Information Systems. She has lived in Chile, and Argentina, and currently lives in Portugal.
