For Nearly fifteen year I have been working as a sustainable mobility consultant focusing on advocacy for walking, cycling, and more equitable public spaces. With my knowledge and experience I help partners and clients understand how a sustainable and just mobility transition needs to start from a place of empathy and recognise the varied needs of people. I have co-authored two books, Building the Cycling City and Curbing Traffic, with a third book coming in 2025 focused on women’s role as leaders in sustainable urban transformations. Since 2022, I have also been a Women Mobilise Women ambassador, working to grow the international network of women working in transport, sharing knowledge, mentorship, and just transition solutions. My work focuses on encouraging professionals and leaders to think differently about the people who make up their communities and why an empathetic approach to mobility is necessary to create inclusive, equitable and welcoming spaces.
