Namakula Hidaya is an Assistant lecturer and civil engineer pursuing a PhD in transportation engineering at Makerere University. She has a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Makerere University. She coordinates training, teaching, and mentoring students at the same University. She has actively participated in Engineering research at the University, focusing on Traffic and Transportation Studies and Structural Materials. Her dedication to sustainable transportation is evident in her work on the Collaboration for Active Mobility in Africa (CAMA) project. She also has valuable experience managing, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating Highways, Traffic and Structural Engineering projects.
