Nouran Farouk is a physician, social entrepreneur, and co-founder of Dosy, the first tech-based platform equipping Egyptian women to operate scooters and bicycles. Through Dosy, she has trained over 8000 women and created more than 3000 job opportunities.

She earned a Master’s in Internal Medicine and a Diploma in Hospital Management from AUC, enabling her to combine healthcare, mobility, and climate resilience to build inclusive, sustainable cities where women are agents of change.

Selected speaking engagements

Nouran Farouk has spoken at the Africa Climate Summit in 2023 and 2025, sharing insights on women’s mobility, climate resilience, and inclusive urban transport. She also presented at the Entrepreneurship Summer School hosted by TU Berlin, where she won first place for her work in social entrepreneurship and mobility innovation.
