I am a historian and geographer with a PhD in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford. I work as an Assistant Professor at the Universidad de los Andes’ Department of History and Geography, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate-level courses in critical geography, urban geography, and geography of Colombia.
During my postgraduate studies, I focused on citizens’ organising to promote the bicycle, and feminist cycling activists’ claims to urban space and political participation. My current research centres women’s wellbeing in the city, and the intersection between mobility, leisure, and the right to the city.
My expertise is in the field of mobility studies, mobility justice, and feminist geography.
