Ana Laura Escobar is a former competitive cyclist and a bicycle mechanic specialising in education. She studied biomechanics in England and carries out non-academic research on women’s access to sport and the reasons behind the gender gap in sport and non-motorised mobility in Mexico, as well as its implications for these women’s lives today.
