Women in E-mobility Network

Women in E-mobility Network

The Women in E-Mobility Network advocates for women’s representation in leadership roles, champions inclusive policies, and creates a platform for networking, collaboration, and resource-sharing among women professionals growing in the e-mobility sector.

Women remain significantly underrepresented in the global transport workforce, comprising less than 20%. The network recognises e-mobility as a transformative opportunity to address gender disparities that have long prevailed in the traditional transport sector.

About the network

The Women in E-Mobility Network was conceptualised with the support of GIZ’s Promotion of Electric Mobility in Kenya project, which strengthens competencies and capacities for an enabling framework and market development for enhanced electric mobility uptake in Kenya.

The network envisions an inclusive e-mobility ecosystem where women can lead and drive the future of sustainable transportation by accessing resources, networks, and opportunities for professional growth.
