Carol Mutiso is a Transport Advisor based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a focus on sustainable mobility solutions. Drawing from her academic background in (MA) Monitoring & Evaluation and (BSc) Development Studies, she collaborates with both public and private sector partners to co-create and implement innovative mobility solutions.
Carol has contributed to significant projects such as Transport and Climate Strategies, Promotion of Electric Mobility in Kenya and IMPROVE, to support decarbonisation of Kenya’s transport sector. Her work reflects a commitment to addressing urban mobility challenges through sustainable and inclusive approaches, as well as addressing the climate change crisis.
Beyond her advisory role, Carol is passionate about capacity building in service design. She manages the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and fostering a culture of learning within the team. Her efforts include internal training sessions to enhance understanding and application of service design principles. Carol’s dedication to impactful project management is rooted in her belief in the power of collaboration, continuous learning, and a user-centered approach to design.
