Caroline is an Advisor at GIZ for the Transport and Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI), as well as MobiliseYourCity, where she supports on capacity building and methodology development. Her interest in urban mobility developed during her Master’s in Public Policy in Erfurt, Germany, where she became fascinated by policymaking at the local level. She then worked at Mobility Institute Berlin, gaining experience in supporting German cities in advancing the Verkehrswende (“transition to sustainable mobility”) through projects such as SUMPs. She has worked in development cooperation in Bogotá, Colombia, as well as briefly in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her wish is for urban mobility to be a choice – one that can drive equity, opportunity, and a healthier planet.
