Dr Ejiro Ikoko is a transport researcher whose work focuses on gender, equity and inclusive mobility. She recently completed her PhD at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds, where she explored how Mobility as a Service (MaaS) can better respond to the everyday mobility needs of women in African cities through participatory co-design and the Capability Approach. Ejiro is passionate about ensuring transport systems are shaped by the lived experiences of the people they serve and is committed to advancing more inclusive, equitable and people-centred mobility.
