Tanya Mittal is a Transport Planner and Logistics Professional with over eight years of experience in sustainable mobility and freight logistics. She has worked extensively with central, state, and city governments in India on transport planning, urban mobility, and logistics policy. At GIZ, she has supported the implementation of Indo-German development cooperation projects, working closely with the Logistics Division, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Her expertise includes city logistics planning, National Logistics Policy implementation, PM GatiShakti, warehousing, multimodal logistics, green freight, and capacity building. She is passionate about developing sustainable, inclusive, and data-driven transport systems that improve urban freight efficiency and support India’s climate and economic development goals.
