We are thrilled to announce the release of the 2025 Jane’s Walk Compendium, as a reflection of our walk in 16 cities in 7 countries back in May 2025. This is the result of collaboration between Women in Transport Leadership Knowledge, Women on the Move Asia, and 30 local communities and individuals.
In 2025, our walks were unified by the theme “Walking in STEP” (Stories, Transport, Ecology, and Place). While walking remains at the heart of these events, this compendium captures how local movements across regions contextualised walking as a form of community expression, how they see nature in their cities, and how they create space for participants’ voices to champion walkability and push forward more inclusive urban futures.
