Flone Initiative is on a mission to revolutionize the public transport industry in Africa, making it not only convenient but safer for everyone, especially women commuters, professionals, and persons with disabilities. With operations spanning Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, Flone Initiative is dedicated to fostering gender equity and inclusion within the transport sector.

Women Mobilize Women is a network of female change makers from all over the world, seeking to actively transform the mobility sector to become more diverse. In addition, Women Mobilize Women aims to raise awareness to the topic of gender and transport amongst planners and decision-makers in the transport sector.

Representing a broad cross-section of multi-modal transportation in both the private and public sectors, these women exemplify the very definition of excellence.
Women in Transport
Women in Transport is a not-for-profit that empowers women in the industry to maximise their potential. Membership provides exclusive access to events, our professional development programmes and the All Party Parliamentary Group for Women in Transport.
In Austria, more than 20 CEOs of important transport and traffic research companies have agreed to sign the underlying Memorandum of Understanding, thus advocating an increase in the proportion of women in the transport sector.
The Federal Ministry has set up its own national platform “Women in Transport” for domestic implementation. After a kick-off and follow-up meeting, a project was commissioned in which concrete measures were developed for domestic companies to increase the proportion of women.
Women Rising for Africa
Women Rising for Africa is a non profit organisation with the focus on Women empowerment, safe mobility, safety, gender inclusion, creating new job opportunities and a new set of skills to improve their quality of life and economic independence.
Akshara Centre
We are a not-for-profit women’s organisation and resource centre working for the empowerment of women and girls. With 14 people leading the way, we have the backing of a strong volunteer base and a number of ambassadors lending their support to our cause. To add to that, on the left, you will see our partners (Stand Up Against Violence) in this movement to make India a gender just country.
